ABOUT

Keita Abe

I am an economist who conducts research on economics of marine resource management. I consider myself as an applied micro-economist using dynamic models and advanced econometric methods including empirical industrial organization and machine learning. My research interest includes the fisheries management policy and harvester behavior and market of seafood. My research field ranges not only in economics and econometrics, but also interdisciplinary field involving biological modeling, sociology and psychology. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
